Everything that goes into putting a building up and finishing it out. If it is not electrical, heat and air, or plumbing, there is a good chance it is on this page.

01 · Framing

Wood & Metal Framing

Framing sets the tone for every trade that comes after it. Walls out of plumb turn into drywall that will not sit flat, cabinets that need shimmed and trim that never closes up. We take the time to get it square the first time.

We frame new construction from the slab up, build additions that tie into the existing structure cleanly, and reframe interiors when a remodel calls for opening up a wall or moving a room.

We work in both wood and metal. Wood for most residential work, light gauge metal stud for commercial build outs and tenant finish where fire rating, straightness over long runs and consistency matter. Plenty of contractors do one or the other, so if a job needs both it does not turn into two separate crews and two separate schedules.

Included In Framing

  • Wall, floor and roof framing on new builds
  • Light gauge metal stud framing
  • Load bearing and non load bearing partitions
  • Room additions and bump outs
  • Interior layout changes and header work
  • Subfloor, sheathing and decking
  • Garage conversions and shop framing
  • Rough openings for windows and doors
02 · Drywall & Ceilings

Drywall, Texture & Acoustic Ceilings

Drywall is the trade people notice only when it is done badly. Bad seams, a wavy ceiling or texture that does not match the rest of the house will bother you every time the light hits it. We hang, tape, float and texture as one continuous process instead of handing it off halfway.

Repair work gets the same attention. If we patch a wall in an older home, we match the existing texture so the fix disappears instead of announcing itself.

We also hang acoustic ceilings, the suspended grid and lay in tile you see in offices, clinics and retail. Grid has to be dead level and square to the room or every tile line reads crooked from the door. We shoot it to level, keep the border tiles even instead of leaving a sliver on one wall, and coordinate the layout with lighting and vents so the ceiling looks planned rather than worked around.

Included In Drywall & Ceilings

  • Hanging, taping, floating and sanding
  • Knockdown, orange peel and smooth finishes
  • Texture matching on patches and repairs
  • Water, storm and settling damage
  • Acoustic ceilings: suspended grid and tile
  • Ceiling tile replacement and grid repair
  • Ceilings, soffits and drop downs
  • Popcorn ceiling removal and refinish
03 · Paint

Interior & Exterior Paint

Most of a paint job is what happens before the first coat. Caulking, patching, sanding and masking are what separate a finish that lasts from one that peels in two summers. We prep properly, then apply full coats with clean cut lines at the ceiling and trim.

Exterior work gets primed where it needs it and back caulked at the joints, which matters a lot on Oklahoma siding that swings from 105 degrees to an ice storm.

Included In Paint

  • Interior walls, ceilings, trim and doors
  • Exterior siding, fascia, soffit and trim
  • Cabinet refinishing and millwork
  • Full prep: caulk, patch, sand, prime
  • Commercial offices, retail and suites
  • Color consultation and sample boards
04 · Flooring

Flooring & Epoxy Coatings

A floor is only as good as what is under it. We check and correct the subfloor before anything goes down, because a dip you cannot see is a squeak, a gap or a cracked tile six months later.

From there it is whatever fits the room and the budget: luxury vinyl plank through the main living areas, tile in the wet rooms, hardwood where it belongs, carpet in the bedrooms. Baseboard and transitions finished out so nothing looks unfinished at the edges.

We also apply epoxy floor coatings for garages, shops, warehouses and commercial spaces. Epoxy lives or dies on the prep: the slab has to be ground or shot blasted open so the coating bonds into the concrete instead of sitting on top of it. Skipping that is why cheap epoxy peels up in sheets the first time somebody parks a hot tire on it. We prep it properly, patch the cracks and spalls first, and finish with the flake and topcoat you picked.

Included In Flooring

  • Luxury vinyl plank and laminate
  • Hardwood installation and refinishing
  • Tile floors, showers and backsplashes
  • Carpet and pad
  • Epoxy coatings: garage, shop and warehouse
  • Slab grinding, crack repair and prep
  • Subfloor repair and leveling
  • Baseboard, quarter round and transitions
05 · Siding

Siding & Exterior

Siding is the part of the house taking the hail, the wind and the sun. Done right it sheds water away from the sheathing. Done wrong it holds moisture against the wall and you find out the expensive way a few years later.

We replace full exteriors, repair storm damage section by section, and handle the soffit, fascia and trim that usually need attention at the same time.

Included In Siding

  • Vinyl, fiber cement and wood siding
  • Full exterior replacement
  • Hail and storm damage repair
  • Soffit, fascia and exterior trim
  • House wrap and moisture detailing
  • Rotten wood replacement
06 · Windows

Windows & Doors

A window is only as good as its install. The unit can be top of the line and still leak air and water if the opening was not flashed and sealed correctly. We install to the manufacturer's detail and finish the trim so the inside looks as clean as the outside.

We also cut and frame new openings when a room needs more light, and hang exterior and patio doors as part of the same scope.

Included In Windows

  • Full window replacement
  • New openings cut, framed and headed
  • Exterior, patio and sliding doors
  • Proper flashing and sealing
  • Interior casing and exterior trim
  • Rotten sill and jamb repair

Scope

The Three We Leave Alone

Electrical, heat and air, and plumbing are licensed trades with their own inspections and their own liability. We do not touch them, and we would not want a contractor who did.

What we do instead is work around them. On a full remodel we sequence our framing, drywall and finish work so the licensed trades get clean access when they need it, and the job keeps moving in between. If you need a referral, we can point you toward people we have worked next to.

Everything except electric, heat and air, and plumbing.
